IP | Ingress Protection - EN 60529 outlines an international classification system for the sealing effectiveness of enclosures of electrical equipment against the intrusion into the equipment of foreign bodies (i.e. tools, dust, fingers) and moisture. |
MIL Spec | Military Specification - Standardisation which meets the requirements set by USA Defence. |

RoHS | Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances |
RoHS Compliant | A RoHS compliant component is tested for the presence of the following; Lead (Pb)<0.1%, Cadmium (Cd)<0.01%, Mercury (Hg)≤100 ppm, Hexavalent chromium (Hex-Cr)<0.01%, Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)<0.1%, and Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)<0.1%. In the EU, some military and medical equipment are exempt from RoHS compliance. |
